As the year comes to a close, we are proud to highlight a few of the fantastic bus ad designs that our Adsposure creative team has put together in 2024! Our talented designers are a full-service creative team for our advertising clients and turn ideas and images into moving works of art that take public transit advertising to the next level.
Here are their favorite bus ad designs of the year:
Newfields Museum Indianapolis
Bringing art to life is at the heart of what our design team at Adsposure does every day. This mission took on a new meaning when our Art Director, Brett Annis, collaborated with Newfields Museum in Indianapolis to transform IndyGo buses into moving masterpieces, featuring the iconic works of Salvador Dalí. Brett’s design features an immersive experience right on the bus, reflecting what the visitor at Newfields would experience. Paired with a QR code to bring an interested viewer right to their website to purchase tickets – this 40-foot full wrap ignites interest while still driving sales.

Brett really enjoyed working on this project, sharing: “This wrap was really fun to make because the brand’s artwork features some really legendary Dali paintings and their efforts to make a physical experience around them.”

This full wrap advertisement is a striking statement on the streets of Indianapolis and showcases the talents of our Art Director Brett and Dalí!
El Asadero
Senior Graphic Designer Andy Spies is always up for a challenge. That’s why working with El Asadero on their bold and bright full-wrap bus design was one of the highlights of his year. “This order had the challenging requirement to develop all new artwork for a restaurant that was more “experiential,” I had to evoke the feelings from the vibrant and lively Mexican restaurant and communicate that onto the side of a bus,” shared Andy.
But he took the challenge head on, and after a few rounds of revision, the beautiful bus is hard to miss on the streets of Cincinnati!

The design incorporates images of their product, along with colors and patterns inspired by the Mexican culture. The mix of artwork and images creates a vibrant design that is eye-catching and conveys exactly what El Asadero was looking for.

Andy commented he was, “…super happy to see that the final product was something they [El Asadero] loved and a challenge I was satisfied to complete!”

GPS Dental Management
Another favorite design of 2024 from Art Director Brett Annis was the 40-foot full wrap for GPS Dental Management. This wrap showcases beautiful smiles, bright colors, and all of the information a potential client would need to know – right on one moving billboard!

Brett chose to feature the wrap for GPS Dental Management because of the “really fun bright colors and how well the finished product came out.” The bus truly turns heads on the streets of Indianapolis, as it’s unique coloring and large portraits are unlike any other design.

City Gospel Mission
Sometimes our Adsposure team is tasked with creating a design that celebrates a monumental occasion. That was the case with City Gospel Mission, as Senior Graphic Designer Andy Spies had the privilege of creating a full wrap and extended kong design for their 100-year anniversary celebration!

Andy shared that, “Working with City Gospel had been a pleasure from the beginning when Tom Michel (Adsposure Account Executive) and I had the unique opportunity to meet with their associate in their home office in downtown Cincinnati. Here we made more meaningful connections which really gave me a perspective on ‘where they’re at’.”
Having this perspective helped Andy as he moved forward with the designs, creating custom artwork that announced their anniversary and conveyed the work City Gospel Mission does for the greater Cincinnati community.

“They gave plenty of material for me to work with and were very open with the design direction I had been pursuing,” Andy shared about working with the nonprofit. “I knew I wanted to have their “100” be the biggest element on the bus and I spruced it up with some 3D text effects. All this would be a little too plain if not for the all-too-important Cincinnati skyline and adding in the little doves motif was the icing on the cake to really fill out the scene of the artwork.”
City Gospel Mission’s designs reflect their vision and celebrate their impact on the city of Cincinnati – plus the vibrant colors stand out wherever they go – including in this photo that Andy took of the extended kong while he was out in the community!

2025 Brings More Creativity to Bus Advertising
The designs mentioned above are just four of the hundreds of designs our Adsposure graphic design team works on throughout the year. We want to extend our thanks to Art Director Brett Annis and Senior Graphic Designer Andy Spies for sharing their talents with the Adsposure team and with our advertising and transit authority partners. Having transit-focused designers is just one piece of what makes Adsposure different, and we are fortunate to have a great team behind the work we do.
We look forward to another year full of remarkable transit advertising designs in 2025!
