Description

Job Title: Vinyl Graphic Installer

Reports to: Installation Manager

Department: Installation

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Overview/Purpose:

Professionally install vinyl graphics in an efficient manner emphasizing precision, accuracy, and attention to detail while adhering to Advertising Vehicles’ standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Responsible for the installation of large cut vinyl jobs on vans, big Sprinter vans, box trucks, transit buses, and floor graphics following proper 3M procedures in established timeframes.
  • When applicable, responsible for full wrap transit buses ensuring straight cuts are made and installation meets company quality standards.
  • Follow Advertising Vehicles’ instructions for proper cleaning and preparation of surfaces and vehicles to ensure quality vinyl graphic installation.
  • Coordinate the removal of vinyl graphics and adhesive from a variety of surfaces without causing damage to the surface.
  • Supervise proper heating techniques and the use of Primer 94 during the installation process.
  • Oversee proper knife usage to ensure precise and straight cuts to vinyl on surface, seams, windows, hinges, and door handles while maintaining company standards.
  • Lead installation process to ensure vinyl is precisely wrapped around corners, bumpers, and other edges.
  • Lead Assistant Installer throughout the installation process, offering guidance and training when needed.
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service with clients and others while leading off-site installations.
  • Responsible for completing Installer checklist before vehicle is returned to customer.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and utilize AVBC for scheduling and complete orders.
  • Take photos and upload images of completed projects to AVBC.
  • Keep work area clean and tidy by sweeping, emptying trash into dumpster, and general housekeeping.
  • When applicable, install and/or remove interior advertising cards on buses and trains.
  • When applicable, understand the different types of buses and transit ads in assigned marked.
  • When applicable, install Traxx frame and skins to Advertising Vehicles specification.
  • Maintain punctual attendance.
  • Deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing assigned tasks and fostering company culture.

Supervision Received:

  • Supervision by Installation Manager, with minimal supervision while working off-site.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • One year of vinyl graphics installation experience.
  • Excellent hand/eye/foot coordination and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide a high level of customer service to clients.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team

Work Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting; ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds.
  • Frequent slouching, climbing, balancing, heights, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling.
  • Occasional sitting, pushing, pulling, and standing on your feet the majority of the day.
  • Vision requirements of the position are up close, at a distance, and in color.
  • Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, and insurability to drive company vehicles.

    Position Overview/Purpose:

    Responsible for the overall accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic and annual financial reports, cash management, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records and preparation of budgets and forecast.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

    • Manages day to day financial operations and daily cash activities including cash availability and borrowings.
    • Analyzes and develops budgets and financial forecasts on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
    • Overseas financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, 401(k) administration, budgeting, and administrative needs.
    • Maintains current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards.
    • Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
    • Establishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes.
    • Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

    • Supervises the preparation and filings of income, sales and use tax returns to local, state, and federal agencies.

    Requirements

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required.
    • 10+ years of progressive experience in the accounting field.
    • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles.
    • Knowledge and experience of accounting computer applications.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide a high level of customer service to clients.

    Work Requirements:

Job Title: Accounting Specialist

Position Overview/Purpose:

Responsible for a wide range of accounting and bookkeeping support functions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Updates, verifies, and maintains QuickBooks and other financial records.

  • Transcribes work orders from AVBC system into sales orders in QuickBooks.

  • Pays invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment.

  • Obtains revenue by transcribing work order information; computing charges and refunds; preparing and mailing invoices; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.

  • Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts; notifying customers of insufficient payments.

  • Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation; issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments.

  • Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the QuickBooks, AVBC and from departments.

  • Analyzes financial information by developing spreadsheet reports and verifying information.

  • Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.

  • Assists Controller with payroll processing through calculation of commission, overtime, and expense reimbursements as assigned.

  • Performs account, bank, and other reconciliations as assigned.

  • Prepares and coordinates deposit activities as assigned.

  • Prepares use tax computations and returns as assigned.

  • Contributes to month end reporting procedures.

  • Provides back up support to the Office Manager; welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries and questions.
  • Provides customer service to customers, employees, management, and vendors by answering questions, resolving discrepancies, and providing formal communication.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide a high level of customer service to clients.

  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
